Now everyone has had a cold once or twice or a million times in their lives right? Right. And everyone has probably passed that cold along to someone else without even realizing it. Maybe it was a the job, at the supermarket, or anywhere that would of had people around. There is also the likelihood that the person who got their cold from you ultimately passed it on to someone else.
A lot of businesses are built around the premise of people passing something around. And sadly enough some businesses are toppled on the premise of people passing something around too. What people pass around the most when it comes to talking about a business is their experience with that business. If they had a pleasant experience most people wont hesitate to tell someone else and that goes double if they had a not so pleasant experience.
This is how most businesses grow, through word of mouth, and how most businesses generate their residual income. Residual income is made when a consumer comes back over and over again to patronize an establishment or some other type of business. Making that residual income can be the difference between success and failure for a lot of organizations.
Think about what you’re worth over the lifetime of you being a consumer. Now think about a certain food establishment you may frequent maybe once a week, month, or year.
To that establishment you are very valuable because even if you only come in just once a year, if you multiply that by all the years youve been coming and all the years you will continue to come then that adds up.
This establishment sees you as a residual income source because you keep coming back and spending your money with them, regardless of how infrequently you do it.
Once you are able to harness the power of giving away a cold along with giving your customers good experiences, you will be able to start and grow a great residual income business.
